Youth

Youth activities at BBCC are designed for young people from Year 9 and up. We offer small groups, social activities, sports teams, and youth services combining social times with spiritual input.

Sport’s a huge part of BBCC life and especially BBCC Youth. We compete for the Fanatic’s Cup, a combined churches Youth Sports competition (which we’ve won several times) and our youth provides most of the players for the BBCC Soccer team which competes in the NZ Christian Football Association league at Riversdale Reserve in Avondale.

A monthly Youth Service gathers the group for spiritual input in a casual, relaxed setting.

SUNDAY SERVICES

Two small groups meet on Wednesday nights at BBCC to discuss aspects of the Christian faith. One group is for high school students, the other for university age and early career people.

SMALL GROUPS

Our youth are also heavily involved with running our regular church events getting involved in our worship band, our children’s programmes, and just about everywhere else. They’re awesome and we couldn’t do without them!

SERVING OTHERS

We organize a monthly social activity which brings the whole group together for heaps of fun...and usually competition.

SOCIAL STUFF

Events such as the World Vision 40 Hour Famine give our youth opportunities to experience something different and contribute towards the needs of other young people around the world.
