Margaret Clark - Pastoral Care (MTL)

Margaret, a founding member of our church, leads our Pastoral Care team which seeks to provide care for everyone at BBCC.

James Ellis - Special Events (MTL)

James takes responsibility for all the Special Events in the church such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, Christmas, Global Fusion, Christmas Cracker, etc

Lynda Richardson - Hospitality (MTL)

Lynda handles the hospitality area of the church adding her special touches to everything from food to flowers.

Gary Richardson - Property (MTL)

Gary manages all property work within the church including repairs and maintenance and new project development.

Prince Vijaykumar - Administration (MTL)

Prince takes responsibility for the Administration portfolio providing oversight to the churches financial management and associated legal and administrative functions.

Kassie Vincent - Connection (MTL)

Kassie oversees a range of social activities designed to help people get connected and provide a catalyst for establishing long term relationships.

Asenla Bendang - Worship (MTL)

Asenla is a gifted worship leader and singer who leads our Worship Ministry with the help of Tim Lockwood, coordinating all our musicians, singers, and technical support for services and special events.

Alistair Clark - Elder

Alistair is a founding member of the church who currently serves as the Chairman of the Elder’s Board and represents the Elders on the Leadership Team.

Frank Marshall - Elder & Outreach Ministry Team Leader (MTL)

Frank is a retired C&MA pastor and the father of Pastor Andrew. Frank brings a huge range of experience of to his role as Elder and leader of our Outreach ministries

Jim Ross - Elder & Prayer (MTL)

Jim is a former missionary pastor with a huge range of experience in the Christian church which he brings to his role as Elder. Jim also leads the various prayer initiatives of the church.

Carolyn Officer - Office Administrator

Carolyn provides overall management of the administrative functions of the church and personal assistant support to the Senior Pastor. Carolyn also serves on the Leadership Team handling the Communications portfolio.

Kim Lockwood - Administrative Assistant

Kim joined the staff in October, 2007 having been an active member of the BBCC family for a number of years. Kim assists the Office Administrator and provides project management for new church initiatives under the leadership of Pastor Andrew.

Jodie Payne - Children’s Ministry Director

Jodie joined our team in July 2008 and takes care of the Children’s ministry on Sunday mornings and our School Holiday clubs. She’s also involved in leading mainly music on Friday mornings, and anything else that involves caring for children in our church and community.

Fiona for over 22 years. They have twin daughters, Rebekah and Emily, who attend Avondale College. Andrew completed a Bachelor of Theology at Canadian Bible College in 1995 after three years of study and internship. Andrew is a member of the Elder’s Board, Chairs our Leadership Team and takes responsibility for the Equipping portfolio on this team. Andrew’s also a sports fan playing soccer, golf, tennis, fishing, and tramping; and watching the Warriors and the All Blacks (and lots of other sports as well:)

Mario Varre - Elder

Mario joined the Eldership in February 2009 and brings with him a vast range of ministry experience in India and the Philippines. Mario has also taught Marriage courses at BBCC and is a very welcome addition to our team.

Tim Lockwood - Member at Large (MTL)

Tim co leads our Worship ministry with Asenla Bendang having spend a number of years in worship ministry. Tim’s a drummer and a singer and also plays golf with the Pastor - but it’s not really helping either of them :>

Marjorie Ross - Member at Large (MTL)

Marjorie brings a wealth of leadership experience to our team having served in churches and on the mission field for many years. Marjorie is the Director of our very successful Kindergarten ministry and keeps our leadership team informed from that perspective, as well as assisting with other matters within our team.

Chris Blacklaws - Youth (MTL)

Chris is passionate about youth ministry and provides leadership to our youth through a mid week study group, a monthly youth service, and regular social events. Chris is also a key player in our worship team involved in worship leading and playing guitar .

Pastor Andrew Marshall

Andrew has been involved in pastoral ministry at BBCC since February, 1996. Originally joining as a part time Assistant Pastor, Andrew became the Senior Pastor in September, 1999. He is a “born and bred” Aucklander with a background in business management and has been married to
