Global Impact Nights – Andrew Scott
Rethinking Mission
As a child growing up in a small, coastal town in Northern Ireland, Andrew learned from his parents about God’s heart for the nations. It is no wonder, then, that at 19 he left home to serve overseas. Now, 52 countries later and after serving with Operation Mobilisation for a number of years on the ship Doulos, Andrew serves as Field Leader in the US. He and his wife, Sharon, have two children. In 1995, he completed his theological training and served as an associate pastor in Northern Ireland for three years. “Before we were created, God thought of how He would use us to fulfil His purposes, and then He made us accordingly. He not only made us for a purpose, He then gave us His Holy Spirit to enable us to live that purpose out for His Glory. My passion is to share this message.”
