There’s already been a great response to our end-of-year retreat, so lock it in your calendars and register now. The retreat will run from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm and costs $45 to attend. A light lunch and dinner will be provided. Places are filling up quickly – register and pay by Sunday 30 November. 

Here are some thoughts from Pastor Tyler…

We readily admit that we are unable to save ourselves from the penalty and power of sin and we are unable to become more like Jesus by our own effort. John Mark Comer writes, “There is so much we can’t do in our spiritual formation; we cannot fix or heal or transform ourselves. But we can do this: We can be with Jesus.” That’s what our Deeper Day Retreat is all about, being with Jesus. In Luke 5:16 we read that “Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Amid the busyness of ministry Jesus would push pause, to get away from the crowds, from the hustle and bustle to be alone with His Father. Our Deeper Day Retreat is a chance for us to follow Jesus’ example of retreating and resting amid the busyness.

Do you want to experience richer communion with Jesus? Greater victory over sin? A more profound witness to God’s goodness? Then prioritizing time with Jesus is vital. Our Deeper Day Retreat is just one way you can do this that I want to encourage you to take advantage of this year. One 45-minute drive, one Saturday out of the year, one more day focused on going deeper in your relationship with Jesus.
